JDG Crowned 2023 MSI Champions – First International Title for the Team🏆
On May 21, 2023, JD Gaming made history by winning their first international title at the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) held in London. Facing fellow Chinese team Bilibili Gaming (BLG) in the grand finals, JDG secured a dominant 3–1 victory, marking their rise as a powerhouse on the global League of Legends stage.
This victory followed their win in the 2023 LPL Spring Split, making JDG the first team that year to claim both the domestic and international titles. Star players such as 369 (top lane), Kanavi (jungle), and Ruler (bot lane) were instrumental in the team’s success, showcasing world-class coordination and mechanical skill.
The MSI triumph solidified JDG’s reputation and earned them a direct seed into the 2023 League of Legends World Championship.
